The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi affirmed the UAE's keenness to strengthen the partnership with the Republic of Turkey, as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed the Turkish President's visit on Monday to his "second country, the UAE."

He expressed his hope that the important visit would serve as a strong impetus to the path of strengthening cooperation and building a new prosperous phase of work and partnerships that are in the interest of the two countries, their peoples and all the peoples of the region.

The Crown Prince and Turkish President Erdogan reviewed the various cooperation opportunities available in the two countries, especially in the investment, economic and development fields, in addition to technology, innovation, space projects, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, health, agriculture and food security, which have a great priority within the development agenda of the UAE and other sectors and a number of issues and developments in the Middle East.

The consensus of the two countries' visions regarding supporting efforts and peaceful solutions aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region was also emphasized.

He stated that "the volume of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries, during his previous visit to Turkey (on November 24 last) was the beginning of a new and great start for the economic and trade partnership between the two countries."

For his part, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE, praising the progress achieved by the UAE during the previous years.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi pointed to the importance of establishing a joint technology fund between the two countries and expanding cooperation in the energy field to include renewable and clean energy technologies, as well as joint investments in the production of chips, which were noted for their strategic importance, especially during the Corona pandemic, in addition to medical and health tourism and other joint projects that belong to Good luck to the two countries, according to the Emirates News Agency.

Mohammed Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Journalists Association, also expressed, in an interview on Emirates TV, the visit of the Turkish president, praising that "the partnership of the UAE with the Republic of Turkey is a partnership with a strong ally, and President Erdogan's visit is the beginning of a new era between the two countries."

Turkish President Erdogan's visit continues until Tuesday, accompanied by a large delegation among its members, the ministers of foreign affairs, interior, finance, trade, industry, technology, infrastructure, transport, culture, tourism, agriculture and forestry, in addition to the head of the Defense Industries Authority.

This visit is the first by the Turkish president to the UAE since 2013, and it comes after the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to Turkey on November 24, 2021, which witnessed the signing of many agreements, especially in the economic and investment aspect, which led to the signing of investment agreements worth 10 billion US dollars. ..
